This Ain't No Dog #$%!!!!

Posted on 13:49 by Unknown
If you're just tuning in.....
I am showing off a room I did for my good buddy and bidness partner, Kris.
We started on this room 15 years ago,
and have been adding dogs ever since.
She's always sneaking more in.
When I'm done showing off this room, I will show what we still have to hang on the walls.
Yes.....
she has a few more dogs to hang!!!!
On Thursday, I showed the right side of the fireplace.....
moving at a glacial speed.....
today I am going to show the left side!!!!!
SO!!!
This is the left side!!!!!
Over the side table are these three dog pictures.
Now I want you guys to know, that I have been the one to hang almost every picture in this room.....
On the table below are just a few more canines....
They be lookin' to the right.....
This guy is lookin' to the left.
He's hangin' out over the sofa....
He's Staffordshire.
(China, not terrier.....)
(Get it????? Do you know what a Staffordshire Terrier looks like?????)
Here's an overview, so you can see where we are.....

FYI....This is a picture of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier from Wikipedia
I will now give you a side by side comparison!!!!!
The guy on the right is a pug.
It's very confusing!!!!
He's a Staffordshire Pug!!!

Whatever......
Back to the sofa wall.
Kris and I were at an auction, and this painting came up for bid.
WE LOVED IT!!!!!
It's by no means the best painting in the world.
The anatomy is a little off......
The technique is a little off.....
BUT THE PRICE WAS GREAT!!!!!
There's just something about this painting that vastly appeals to me.
These dogs just tug at my heart.
And they don't poop in the house!!!!
Over the terriers are three more pictures....
of dogs.....
in case you were wondering.....
Some more to the left.....
and then on the table, we thought it would be a good idea to have some dogs.....
In with the dogs are collections of a few other items.
These are Boule d'escalier
(newel post finial for a staircase)
Kris found them on the French ebay.
She got it into her pointy head that she could start collecting something other than dogs!!!!!
This is a paper clip
 (It clips paper!!!)
(It's a dog!!!)
this is a book end.
(It ends books!!!)
(OK, that's just silly. They hold books up.....)
(some more dogs!!!!)
These are Indian clubs.
(They were used for exercise in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.)
Swing them around, juggle them, loose weight!!!!!
(These are not dogs.....)
And here's Kris's husband when he was little with his boxer!!!!!
(The dog, not his underwear.....)

 These are toss pillows.
(Pillows one can toss!!!!!)
(Can you tell that I've started to get a little punchy????)

Nothing like a needle point of a dog....
Under the coffee table is the basket that holds Petey the Dog's bed. It was getting cleaned when I took this picture, but it's all comfy and cozy....
And here's
Petey!!!!!
He's a million years old.
When I first met Kris he was a puppy.
I've known her 15 years, so you do the math.....

On this note, Petey and I will say.....
"Have a great Sunday and take me for a walk!!!!!"
